Since 1803, the Wohlmuth and their ancestors worked in the traditional wine producers are Sausal territory in southern Styria. Gerhard Wohlmuth leads together with his wife Maria, the successful family estate, but also the young generation, Gerhard jun. and his girlfriend Marion, is an integral part of the highly export-oriented enterprise.
The vineyards from the winery Wohlmuth count for many centuries among the best vineyards of Styria. With great effort and diligence their enormous importance was further expanded as a 'Grand Crus' of Styria. The single vineyards Steinriegel, Altenberg, Edelschuh and Gola are already on everyone's lips and could also show international recognition in that they produce wines that are full of minerality, elegance and finesse.
