Since the duo Horvath and Frischengruber managed the Domäne Wachau, the winery grew to a big player on the Danube Valley.

Authenticity is a word, terroir the other. The result is a unique range of different Veltliner and Riesling, which are the variety of large Wachau documents fairly and have long been the international wine world to marvel. The main grape variety in the Domäne Wachau with about 55% of the growing area. In no other wine region in Austria but also has Riesling a high part as in the Wachau, Wachau as well as in the domain with 18% of the area. Neuburger is a regional specialty - the domain Wachau is the world's largest Neuburger winery. Rivaner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Muscat are other notable white wines. Red wine has a share of about 9% - Blauer Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Pinot Noir can be mentioned as the most important red grape varieties.
