Cloudey Bay is one of the most prestigious wineries in New Zealand. Sauvignon blanc is one of the great classics of this variety. The estate is located in Marlborough County in the northeast of the southern island. Responsible for the vinification of Cloudy Bay are Kevin Judd and James Healy. It currently owns 100 hectares of vineyards.
The name goes back to Captain Cook, who had this "cloudy bay" so named. The same Sauvignon Blanc has established the worldwide fame of this house, a wine full of complexity, structure and vibrant aromas.
