With numerous awards and top ratings Erich and Walter Polz are one of the leading wineries in Austria. The two took over in the late eighties the estate of their parents and developed it over time to a size of 70 hectares. With the 'Grassnitzberg' and later acquired the vineyards on the 'Hochgrassnitzberg', 'Obegg' and 'Theresienhohe' they till today some of the most exquisite locations in Styria.
The vineyards are planted for the most part with the region typical Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Riesling and Morillon, specialties such as Traminer, Pinot Noir and Zweigelt and finesse blends complete the range. The wines is differentiated, with the line 'Styrian classic' with a particular focus on fruitiness, freshness and bright varietal in stainless steel is removed. The vineyard wines (First STK STK Great location and location) access depending on the character and potential of the vintage in large or small oak barrels to mature.
