The innovative Gerhard Markowitsch is considered one of the founders of red wine miracle in the region Carnuntum. The vineyard area totals 23 hectares of vines in the vineyards Rosenberg and Schanzäcker. They are planted to 75% with the red varieties Zweigelt, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, as well as 25% with the white varieties Veltliner, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Traminer. In each read wine blend are at least 50% of the Carnuntum leading variety Zweigelt.
The premium wines include the red blends 'Rosenberg' (Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), 'Redmond' (Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah), 'Cuvée Carnuntum' (Zweigelt, Pinot Noir) and since the vintage 2000 'M1' and the varietal Rubin Carnuntum (Zweigelt), Pinot Noir, Chardonnay Reserve, Grüner Veltliner Alte Reben (almost 50-year-old vines).
