The winery JURIS is located in the historic center of Gols. The Stiegelmar family has been here for many generations of winemaking. Today JURIS owns vineyards are in the best sites. George Stiegelmar began when he joined in 1965 with the production of high quality wines in sweet wine. In the course of time, the red wine won an increasingly important share of the production and today 80% of production. White wines and sweet wines are ideally equally important, but comprise only 20% of production. The most important red grape varieties include the quality varieties of Austria, with a strong emphasis on the Burgundies, St. Laurent and Pinot Noir, is omitted. In the white varieties Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are most important.
