Hans Igler, died in 1994, was Grandseigneur, Doyen and charismatic figurehead for many Burgenland vintners. The red wine pioneer experimented as first Burgenland winemaker in the early 1980s with the in Austria then still unknown Barrique, cultivated as one of the first larger amount of Cabernet Sauvignon and ventured to a red wine blend.

The premium house wines are red blends Vulcano (Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt, Merlot), aged for 15 months in oak barrels, as well as from Ericio, lat the hedgehog as a tribute to Hans Igler (Merlot, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt), the 21 months aged in oak barrels.
