Krugis a in Reims in 1843 founded champagne brand, which is considered by many experts as the best of all the champagne. Originally founded by Johann-Joseph Krug from Mainz, the champagne house is now owned by the luxury goods group LVMH. The base wines are all blends aged in 35-year-old barrels. The bottles are sold only when the wines are ready to drink, but the Krug recommends that the bottles rest after purchase for at least another year.
